Frequently Asked Questions

ELECTIVE COURSES (When Available) & RICH STUDIO

When is the earliest I can drop off my young actor before class?

15 min before class time. If you arrive any earlier, please wait with your young actor until you see a staff member.

When/Where are classes?

RICH STUDIO:

What is your refund policy?

We understand that schedules change and the unexpected can happen. For STUDIO students, please contact us regarding your concerns. For ELECTIVE COURSES:

  • Cancellations made 15-30 days before the first day will receive a full refund

  • Cancellations made less than 1 week before the first day will receive a 50% refund.

  • If the cancellation is made less than 2 weeks before the first day of class and takes the class roster to less than 3 students, no refund will be given. This is to be fair to the other students who enrolled and are expecting class. A minimum of three students is required for the class to take.

If cancellation is required by Rich Theatre for any reason, a full refund will be given.

Can my child miss a few days of an ELECTIVE CLASS or a RICH STUDIO 10 Week Intensive and still participate?

We understand that there will be occasional scheduling conflicts. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer pro-rated prices. If at auditions, you anticipate missing more than 3 classes of an Intensive we recommend speaking with the Program Director.

What if my child decides not to stay in an ELECTIVE CLASS or a STUDIO Intensive? Can we get a refund?

It is extremely rare that a student decides to leave. However, in the unlikely event that your child is unable to continue with class after the session has started, the tuition fee is non-refundable. This is because once class has begun, our costs are non-refundable. We use tuition to pay for things such as the venue, our highly qualified professional instructors, equipment and more.

What is your staff-to-student ratio?

We strive to keep class sizes low to ensure personalized instruction, tailored focus and student-to-peer comfort. Acting and the arts require a trust and vulnerability more easily acquired within a small group setting.

Are there any special supplies or clothes we need to bring?

Students will be asked to wear comfortable, loose-fitting and modest clothing for all classes, including voice lessons. Physical warm-ups and range of motion are key in using the body as an instrument.

Dance class students will be asked to provide their own dance shoes as specified in the class description.

My student has special needs. Can you accommodate?

Rich Theatre strives to provide great theatrical experiences to as wide a range of young people as possible, and maintains a favorable track record of doing so. Please feel free to contact us via email to describe your situation and discuss whether this is the right opportunity for your family.
