Rich Theatre is a family-oriented educational theatre company based in Virginia Beach, Virginia founded by husband and wife team Jason & Lynn Richards. Residents of Virginia Beach since 2003, Jason and Lynn both attended Regent University Graduate School, where Lynn earned an MFA in Acting and Jason earned an MA in Cinema-Television Directing in 2006. Having worked professionally both locally and nationally, the Richards formed Rich Theatre in 2017 to share their love of the arts and provide opportunities for community members to discover and cultivate a love of their own. Founded in the Truth of Christianity, Rich Theatre promotes high moral and ethical character.

Rich Theatre offers education with heart—and a whole lot of fun. We believe the power of storytelling is transformative for everyone—whether they are behind the scenes, on the stage, or in the audience. For young and seasoned actors alike, lessons in teamwork, empathy, and friendship change lives. With programs including Rich Theatre KIDS!, Film Camp, our Summer Musical Theatre Camp, and Rich STUDIO, your 7-18 year old can find their voice—on stage and off.
