Film Camp Interns can be acting students, or film students of any discipline: directing, producing, screenwriting, etc. They get to share their enthusiasm for filmmaking and the techniques they are learning with young people who are eager to absorb their teaching. If you know how to lay out any story to keep an audience squirming, you might be great for our writer’s room on days 2 & 3. If you can show a kid when to use hard light or diffuse, where to point a boom mic, or how to reliably set focus for multiple subjects…you might be a good fit for our production days toward the end of the week. Can you sell any moment in a closeup? Are you an ace in the art department, costume shop, or makeup room? Apply to spend a day or two—or more!—with us.

Summer Musical Theatre Camp Interns work alongside industry professionals, interact with staff and students, report directly to the Internship Coordinator, and can expect their experience to be curated based on their interests, as well as the needs of the production team. Interns may attend weekly educational seminars taught by RT Department Heads and guests from the RT Extended Creative Family.
