Expectations & Requests:

  • We ask that parents are NOT present during the camp day or during rehearsals. If you are a Parent-Volunteer working on site, we still ask that you give the students their privacy and space during the creative process. Talk to us if your student has special needs.

  • Only Cast and Crew are allowed onstage or backstage.

  • Only Cast, Crew and Parent-Volunteers are allowed in the dressing rooms/in the theatre prior to “House Opening.”

  • Our licensing contract prohibits all videography, photography and/or recording during the performances.

  • Food and drink is to be consumed in the designated area during lunch break and snack time. Frequent water breaks will be scheduled. No food or drink is allowed in the theater.

  • Please do not bring gum or candy to camp.

  • Please let us know if your student has any chronic or previous injuries that would become an issue when performing, especially dance choreography.

  • Our students will be engaged in an ambitious project these few weeks. They will need parents’ help memorizing their lines, blocking and choreography in the evenings. (We will post videos to an unlisted YouTube page.) We ask for your partnership in helping them achieve excellence.

  • We will strive to respect your time by starting and ending camp promptly. We ask you to be on time as well for drop-off and pick-up.

    • Check-in begins at 8:15am and Check-out is finished at 4:05pm.

  • If someone other than a parent is dropping off or picking up, we ask that camp staff is informed ahead of time through the provided permission slip. If there is an emergency, please email or text message: 757-317-1515; inforichtheatre@gmail.com

  • Because use of cell phones is only allowed during the lunch break, if you need to contact your student during camp hours for an emergency, please text Lynn with our direct line: 757-317-1515.

  • Lynn is Camp Producer & Show Director this year, so we ask that texts during camp hours are for emergencies only.
